Russell is our Managing Director and Principal Consultant and founded the business in 2003; he prides himself on remaining a personal source of contact for each and every Greenborough client, ensuring the needs of the project are delivered to the highest standard by the team. Russell has worked for over 35 years in a number of business environments, from multi-national plcs, right through to start-ups. He has worked in both private and public sectors, and, almost uniquely, has spent 20 years at the interface between the two.
He has developed and managed a number of successful businesses, both for himself, and others, and relishes a challenge. Current roles, in addition to leading Greenborough, include Director of 10×10 Business Services and Chair of the Regional Advisory Board of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. He is Non-Executive Director for 3 external businesses and undertakes regular speaking engagements. Russell is also a retained business advisor to a number of SME businesses and public projects.
Russell achieved Highly Commended at the East Midlands Institute of Director’s Annual Awards (2019) to go with his Runners Up at the Great British Entrepreneurs’ Awards.
