Having won the contract to deliver the Northern Max 3 business accelerator, modeled on our successful 10×10 ® programme (see www.10by10.co.uk), we were delighted to see our cohort get underway after Easter.
The lockdown enforced by the current Covid-19 outbreak meant that we were rapidly forced to pivot our delivery to an entirely online model. And this isn’t simply the move from “classroom to Zoom”. The whole programme needed to be re-thought – delivery, breaks, social interaction, break-out rooms, pre- and post-workshop materials, attendance evidence…..the whole shooting match!
We are delighted to report that, with the support of our excellent facilitators and with a lot of encouragement from our clients at City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, the programme has got off to a great start. One of the benefits of the online model has been that we have been able to open the programme up to 15 beneficiaries (rather than the 12 originally planned), as well as offering access to recordings and course materials to a further 6 businesses.
We are about to launch week 4 (of 10) as we write this, and we’re excited to see how far our beneficiaries can go once this Covid-19 crisis is over.
